Cookie policy

Your control

Optional Google Analytics tracking is off until you choose “Allow analytics.” “Reject optional” is equally available. You can reopen “Cookie settings” from any page footer to withdraw or change your choice. Rejecting analytics does not block guides, articles, forms, or the community link. Marketing email preferences are separate.

Technologies on this website

• Privacy preference: local storage named fs-privacy-v1 remembers your analytics choice and its timestamp for up to 180 days. It is necessary to apply your privacy choice and is not an advertising identifier.
• Cart: freightskills-cart stores only selected workshop identifiers in your browser, for up to 30 days after a selection change. It contains no name, email, or payment details.
• Google Analytics: after permission, cookies beginning _ga help measure visits and events. We configure a maximum 180-day cookie lifetime without renewing that lifetime on every visit. Browser restrictions may shorten it.
• Infrastructure: Cloudflare may use necessary security or challenge cookies when protecting the site. Their lifetimes depend on the security feature used.

Google tracking

We use basic consent mode: the Google Analytics script does not load before permission. Advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization remain denied. Analytics events are limited to website usage and resource interactions; form field values are not sent. We remove query strings and fragments from the page addresses we send to analytics. Global Privacy Control overrides an analytics choice and keeps collection off.

Embedded videos

YouTube videos load only after you select “Load YouTube video.” This connects your browser to YouTube, which can receive your IP address and device information and may use storage when you play. The choice applies to that player, not to analytics. You can also follow the direct YouTube link. See Google's privacy policy.

Withdrawal and browser settings

When you withdraw analytics permission, we stop collection and remove accessible analytics cookies for this site. Information already sent is not recalled; contact us for applicable deletion rights. You can also clear cookies and local storage in your browser. A browser or extension may independently block tracking. Choices are specific to this browser and website and do not automatically apply to other devices or third-party services.
